20th Century Fox has done a fantastic job this year by making their franchise films adult oriented, and in doing so offered 3 were good films. Logan and War for the Planet of the Apes got great reception across the board from critics as well as audiences. Both were excellent closing chapters for their lead characters. Alien Covenant, while quite divisive, is still a solid film, which got positive reviews from critics.
