Now let me start off by saying that Jonathan Banks is an absolutely amazing actor. He deserved to win in Season 1, because his performance in that season was just superb. Now he's been an amazing actor these next two seasons as well, but when it comes to Season 3, he simply did not have much to do. He spent half the season without any dialogues (a common joke in the BCS community is that he spent half the season staring at things from inside his car), and when he did have dialogue it was for plot-lines that were not all that connected to the main story line. He did really good, don't get me wrong, but it didn't stand out as much as usual for it to warrant him a nomination. Hell, the only way he wins this time around is if it's a make-up award for his season 1 loss, but for this season alone, I doubt he would win.Michael McKean, on the other hand, my goodness. What a truly exceptional performance he gave this season, and I mean it. He had some of the best acting this show, and TV, has seen in a long long time, and if there's anyone who deserved a nomination, it was him. Hell, most of us who watch the show thought he might have a legitimate chance of actually winning, and that's not just some sort of bias. McKean gave it his all this season and it really showed; some of his best performances were in "Chicanery" (nominated for Best Writing) and "Lantern"; those who watch the show know what I am talking about. At the end of the day, his performance this entire season was just phenomenal, and it's a travesty that he didn't get the nod over Jonathan Banks, because he certainly deserved to do so. I have no doubt that the majority of the BCS community will agree with me. We love you Jonathan Banks, but it's a shame and quite frankly disrespectful to Michael McKean for him to be snubbed like this. via /r/television http://ift.tt/2uolmig
