The third act. From the moment when Peter appears in front of Liz's dad's house, the story gets intense. Peter finally achieved peace in his social life, everything finally started going fine, he got a girlfriend and got together his school life, just to see everything everything crumble when he meets her dad - Adrian Toomes, the Vulture himself. Not only that, Toomes figures out Spider-Man's identity and threatens him and his loved ones, ruining what could be the loveliest night in his life. Through Peter's eyes we can see how heartbroken, anxious, powerless he felt at the moment. He couldn't not seize the opportunity to stop him, he realised his duty and he had to do it, despite how much he wanted to stay with Liz and his friends.Until the end of the final battle scene, there were only 4 or 5 small humorous moments (with "I'm watching porn" being the funniest one) and none of them have ruined the tension, no quips, just pure struggle and emotions. The rubble scene, lack of music during the intense scenes, Peter's enormous efforts to stop the villain who was ahead of him, it all reminded me of Raimi movies, the sweet feeling of the classic "heroism" from the earlier superhero movies.Kudos to Jon Watts and Feige for delivering on a great Spider-Man film (and I say that as a person who started to get sick from the certain clichés in MCU movies). via /r/movies http://ift.tt/2uWFq8r
