What films would make better TV shows?

I recently read that Tarantino considered Inglorious Basterds for a mini-series because of scale and connectedness and length of the story. Got me thinking whether it would have been better on TV, or if he made the right call in the end.Another one is City of God. The story felt huge with so many characters and a lot to take in.
