I found this on a post"The idea of Earth being Unicron was first introduced in the series Transformers: Prime, and the last few episodes of season 1 dealt with it. In that series, Earth had actually formed around Unicron's dormant body, with Unicron himself being the planet's core. When Unicron began to awake, natural disasters began popping up around the Earth. Unicron himself never fully woke up, as doing so would have destroyed Earth so of course the Autobots had to stop him before that happened, but he was able to send avatars of himself made out of stone to fight back, and also attempted to manipulate Megatron. Whether or not the films follow these ideas, we've yet to see, but it's possible"So maybe the world ending wasn't the evil chick trying to drain the life force out but maybe the spikes where a sign of unicorn waking up because the spikes the man where going to touch was infact new and appeared after everything happend via /r/movies http://ift.tt/2vdqsxd
