Be it drama or comedy, I want a TV show that feels like it knows the gaming culture, or where at least is portrayed in an interesting way, and it has an interesting story accompanying that. Cause more often than not, gaming culture is treated in the same way as black, chinese and gay people in the 80´s: stereotyipical nerd/geek.The latest baffling show using the gaming culture is Game Shakers, from Nickelodeon. You know it doesn´t make sense that 4 kids between 12-14 years old are developing videogames, and even have a company, but I bet that not even watching it, it´s pretty bad. And you know this, when the show uses Youtuber personality ProJared for a TV cameo, and he answers in an interview that you shouldn´t watch the show, apart from he feeling bad for participating on it.I want a show that represents the gaming culture in a good way, even if it is to portray a character who´s a casual gamer and hasn´t played a lot of them. And alongside having a story to tell. There could be an e-sports show, or a drama about a club of people that are outcasts outside, but play videogames as a form of bonding and making friends, kinda like in the movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower. via /r/television http://ift.tt/2hedBpv
