About the reactions to the 13th Doctor

I have the feeling everybody has prepared a speech after a female Doctor was revealed and waited for the negative reactions and hate tweets/comments.But nothing significant was appearing.Then they made up a nonexistent uproar and posted their funny texts about the bigots who don't want a female Doctor.Together with a lot of commentary regarding the lack of female characters in science fiction shows.
