Films in the same vein as American Beauty, The Virgin Suicides, Ghost World?

Looking for films similar to these favourites of mine. I love the kind of dark and real feeling they have depicting romance, family relationships, coming of age etc. I love films with an American suburban culture kinda thing going on.
