What are some fluke great performances by a usually terrible actor.

I was channel surfing yesterday and came across Shattered Glass with Hayden Christensen, and man, I almost forgot that I hate his acting "skills". From my point of view, his acting is like sand. Rough, coarse, and it gets everywhere.Yet, I was pleasantly surprised by how much emotion and range he actually had, and while I concede Sarsgaard knocks it out of the park and was in a league of his own in the film, Christensen proves he has acting chops.Are there any other actor/actresses that have a imdb filled with crap with a fluke gem here or there? via /r/movies http://ift.tt/2v99QaD
